We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Engineer or Project Manager to support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background in civil or geotechnical engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the landfill and environmental infrastructure space.

Responsibilities

• Project Management & Technical Execution
• Manage and execute engineering projects related to solid waste civil infrastructure and geotechnical design reporting directly to the Principal Engineer .
• Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation.
• Oversee field activities including construction quality assurance (CQA) and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports geotechnical investigations and construction plans and specifications .
• Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with clients regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure project goals budgets and timelines are met.
• Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensure
• Bachelors degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (
• California PE license required; GE license preferred for geotechnical candidates.
• Experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering with a focus on landfill projects .

Proven experience in:

• Geotechnical and groundwater investigations
• Landfill expansions and closures
• Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight
• Project management and client coordination
