The Job
Direct the Events Crew, schedule crew shifts, approve crew timecards, and assist department staff with facilitating events. Work evening and weekend hours as needed.
In this role, you will .
· Coordinates all operations involving the setup and strike of equipment for internal and external events. Escorts and assists outside vendors. Under the direction of the Head of Hospitality, oversees all aspects involving the set-up crew (2-10 persons) including recruiting, training, efficient and cost-effective scheduling, and preparing timecards. Generates monthly charge back reports for linens, crew hours, and coat check. Provides event coverage when needed.
· Schedules Crew Shifts and approved timecards. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Posts set up and strike shifts for each event
- Works closely with Event Lead and Event Assistant on shifts needed
· Works with Events department to provide Event Coverage when needed
· Maintains inventory of department equipment; acts as a liaison between departments for special set-up and equipment needs.

You are a self-motivated and well-organized individual who enjoys interacting with people. You are an exceptional problem solver and are effective at managing event set up and tear down. You have exceptional customer service skills and always go above and beyond for our clients and vendors. You share information continuously and clearly, keeping everyone in the loop to ensure successful events from beginning to end.
Specific Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
· Minimum of two years related event operations experience
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to interact appropriately with diverse groups of people
· Highly developed organizational skills
· Working knowledge of Google Calendar
· Attention to detail and a positive disposition
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
