Role - SAP FICO consultant with IS Retail

Base Location - San Jose, CA

Working Model - Remote with frequent travel to SFO

Employment type - Full-time

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail – Record to report Consultant responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end financial Record to Report processes in an SAP Retail landscape, ensuring accurate general ledger, subledger, asset accounting, and statutory reporting.
• The candidate must have strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger, sub-ledger accounting, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers, allocations) including familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Design and configure SAP FI/CO R2R processes including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and financial closing setup in a retail environment.
• Integration of R2R with IS Retail modules (MM, SD, CO) covering retail-specific flows such as goods movements, markdowns, inventory valuation, and store operations.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and R2R automations and collaborate with technical teams through development and testing.
• Drive financial master data relevant to R2R (chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, GL mappings, financial statement versions).
• Perform and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for R2R processes, including defect analysis, fixing, and regression testing.
• Strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger, sub-ledger accounting, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers, allocations) Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.

Qualifications

Must have skills:

12 + years of overall experience in SAP.

SAP CO (Strong), SAP FI-AP (Expert), SAP FI-AR (Strong), SAP FI-GL (Strong), SAP IS-Retail (Expert).

Additional Information

Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000
