Recruiting Consultant - Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a contractual basis. This role partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders to manage and execute full-cycle recruiting initiatives while providing thoughtful, strategic guidance tailored to each organization’s needs.
This consultant will support recruiting efforts across a variety of roles and industries, serving as both a hands-on executor and a trusted advisor. The position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service and compliance.
This role will flex between execution-level recruiting work and consultative oversight, depending on the scope of each engagement, and is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also stepping back to improve recruiting processes and outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned client roles, including intake calls, job posting development, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring goals, and timelines, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Source and engage candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and creative outreach strategies.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, assess qualifications, and present high-quality candidate recommendations to clients.
- Ensure all recruiting practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for recruiting-related client requests and questions.
- Support broader HR consulting needs as assigned, which may include process setup, creation of recruiting tools and templates, and market research.
- Track recruiting activity, progress, and outcomes, and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
- Accurately track time and work performed for each assigned client.
- Identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities across recruiting engagements and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with other consultants and internal team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Demonstrate a service excellence mindset in all interactions with candidates, clients, and colleagues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and candidate information.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of recruiting or talent aquisition experience, preferably in a consulting or agency environment
- Experience managing multiple recruiting projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong client service orientation and professional judgment
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Consulting experience preferred
