Senior Market Research Project Manager

We are seeking a Market Research Project Manager to support market research initiatives at a leading medical device organization. This is a non-technical project management role and is not aligned to IT, software, or systems delivery. This is a hybrid role located in San Francisco, though there is a potential for it to be remote in the Pacific Time Zone.

The ideal candidate has experience managing market research, insights, or commercial projects within medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environments.

This role will backfill a recently promoted team member and will support research initiatives across both healthcare provider (HCP/physician) and consumer audiences. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end market research projects, not software or IT programs

• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders across multiple research initiatives

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external market research vendors

• Participate in vendor meetings and research readouts, including review of methodologies and insights

• Track project status, risks, and deliverables using Excel-based tools

• Support synthesis of research findings into clear summaries and presentation materials

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of project management experience in medical device, life sciences, pharma, or healthcare environments

• Demonstrated experience managing non-technical projects such as market research, commercial, insights, or strategy initiatives

• Strong experience working with external vendors and cross-functional internal stakeholders

• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Experience

• Medical device industry experience strongly preferred

• Exposure to HCP or consumer research initiatives

• Experience supporting global or multi-market research projects
