JOB OBJECTIVE
As a team member of Post Ranch Inn, the Houseperson will ensure a world class guest experience by delivering the highest quality of cleanliness for the property in a timely manner and to continue the long-term success of offering unparalleled hospitality.Ideal candidates will have prior experience supporting the Housekeeping department. Must have a proven track record of providing unique guest experiences. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, be able to communicate the language(s) primarily used within the workplace/department and with the guests. Must have a valid California driver's license and insurable.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and meeting spaces
- Assist Room Attendants and in-house laundry with stripping linens and transporting laundry
- Clean and maintain fireplaces; remove ash and debris, ensure surrounding area is tidy, and restock firewood as needed.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock minibars; check expiration dates, replenish items, and thoroughly clean and organize refrigerators.
- Complete guest and internal deliveries promptly and professionally.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
- Pushing/Pulling: Average weight 30 lbs on a regular basis, 50 on occasion
- Lifting/Carrying: Average weight 30 lbs on a regular basis, 50 on occasion
- Standing/Walking: Constantly. Standing/walking the majority of scheduled shift
- Kneeling/Crawling: Constantly. Completing tasks throughout the hotel
- Reaching: Constantly
Pay range for the Houseperson position is $20.00 per hour
