Who we are: We are a newly opened Chocolate and Gelato store serving up a wide range of gelato flavors along with delectable chocolates and hot & cold beverages. Role for Hire: We are looking for loyal, dynamic, friendly and energetic person who either has prior experience as a store manager or is willing to learn the skills to become one. Ideal candidate has passion for customer service, attention to detail, organized, is people friendly and has flexible hours to work on weekdays and weeknights. Store Manager Duties once trained, look like below: Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house staff and baristas Create and manage staff schedules; oversee timekeeping, breaks, and time-off requests Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste control Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques during preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, equipment, and utensils. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality Manage speed and time taken in opening and closing procedures Ensure brand standards and store presentation are consistently upheld Scoop and serve Gelato to customers as requested Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Be able to recommend flavors and hand out samples patiently and with genuine engagement Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
