Night Supervisor
Moreno & Associates, Inc. is a leader in providing top-notch janitorial and facility services. We are seeking a dedicated Night Supervisor to join our team and support the Operations Manager in overseeing night operations. This role is crucial in maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring efficient service delivery across one or multiple sites. The Night Supervisor will play a key role in managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols, and fostering professional relationships with team members and management. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other Supervisors on all operational activities related to one or multiple sites.
- Ensure team compliance with contracts and scope of work for each site.
- Review daily service requests with the Operations Manager and Account Manager ensure prompt follow-up and completion of work orders.
- Schedule and assist with safety inspections at job sites.
- Arrive promptly to the Moreno HQ for the 5pm Operations Meeting, Monday through Thursday.
- Conduct site tours with the Operations Manager and Account Management.
- Supervise and manage equipment inventory and maintenance.
- Order supplies as needed and stay within budget.
- Work with HR to ensure new and current employees are properly trained on Moreno's safety and custodial training program.
- Perform special jobs or utility work as requested by accounts.
- Conduct and document on-the-job employee training.
- Partner with HR to address worker’s compensation information.
- Ensure compliance with quality service guidelines and document employee-related issues.
- Complete work accurately and thoroughly with attention to detail.
- Bilingual - English & Spanish.
- Geographical reach - Silicon Valley and Greater Bay Area.
Qualifications
- Valid CA Driver's License
- Experience in a supervisory role in the janitorial industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training and safety meetings.
- Proficiency with technology and has experience with Google Suite.
- Proficiency in managing equipment and inventory.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Site Coverage
- Covering for PTO, sick calls, and additional cleaning needs
- Working days: Sunday-Thursday (Sunday 7AM to 3:30pm and Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Physical Requirements
- Requires consistent attendance and physical presence at the job.
- Requires the ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
- Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
- Requires extensive body mobility: reach above and below shoulder height, constant walking, standing in one place for long periods, bending, stooping, extending, lifting, kneeling, etc.
- Use of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mop buckets, heavy duty machinery like floor scrubbers, and appropriate chemicals as provided by Moreno.
- Work in varying temperature environments (internal and external buildings).

- Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with all team members
Scheduling and Communication
- Keep track of shared schedule.
- Monitor schedule updates and oversight from the Operations Manager and Customer Service team.
