Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a motivated Part-Time Human Resource and Recruiting Assistant to join a local non-profit recognized for their community contributions. This role is perfect for someone with previous HR and recruiting experience who is eager to contribute to a supportive work environment. The position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 24 hours per week, making it ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
- Answer department communication, including emails and phone calls.
- Assist hiring managers with creating and refining job descriptions.
- Recruit program-specific roles, such as Counselors, Assistants, and Therapists.
- Schedule interviews, both in person and virtual, coordinating with candidates and hiring teams.
- Verify that candidates meet required background and certification criteria.
- Coordinate and track the onboarding process, including conducting background checks.
- Previous Human Resource and Recruiting experience is required.
- Ability to start a temporary 10+ week role as soon as possible.
- Capability to work part-time, about 24 hours a week, with a flexible schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with first-shift hours. The role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate about 24 hours per week.
