Construction Admin Coordinator

The Sacramento office of SmithGroup is looking for a Construction Admin Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving submittals and RFI s from Consultants;
- Logging data into construction database;
- Managing the flow of information between the owner and AE team during the CA process;
- Coordinating submissions of Amended Construction Documents to OSPHD;
- Creating sketches in Revit to reflect changes in construction documents;
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager;
- Travel to Oakland jobsite minimum three days per week.
We are looking for:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel;
- 1-5 years of professional construction administration/ management or architectural experience;
- Proficiency in construction management software;
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications;
- Familiarity with Construction Administration process;
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines;
- Revit proficiency strongly preferred;
- Undergraduate degree in Architecture or Construction Management a plus;
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
SmithGroup offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package. The anticipated salary range for this position is $29.33 to $36.55 per hour (approx. equivalent to $61,000 to $76,000 annually), at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated pay range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis.
