Endpoint Engineering in Milpitas
This Endpoint Engineering role will be in KLA Corp in Milpitas Headquarter location. They will be a member of the Client Services Team overseeing Workstation Endpoints worldwide, with a focus on Apple Devices managed by Jamf Pro system.
Key responsibilities
Jamf Pro Administration: ( a must skill)
Managing and configuring Jamf Pro, including policies, configurations, and workflows.
Device Management:
Deploying, enrolling, and managing Apple devices (macOS, iOS, etc.) using Jamf Pro.
System Health and Devices Reporting Dashboard:
Implementing dashboards representing system health and device health within the Jamf Pro environment, showing compliance on Security Updates and Cyber Agents installed status.
Integration:
Integrating Jamf Pro with M365 suite, identity providers Entra ID, and other MS enterprise infrastructure components & applications.
Software and Application Management:
Packaging, deploying, and updating software and applications on managed devices.
Automation and Scripting:
Utilizing scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
Security and Compliance:
Implementing and enforcing security policies and configurations to maintain compliance and protect endpoint devices.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Providing technical support to end-users and troubleshooting issues related to Apple devices and Jamf Pro.
Documentation:
Maintaining documentation for device management processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Training and Enablement:
Providing training and support to IT support staff on best practices for using Apple devices and Jamf Pro.
Collaboration:
Working with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient device management.

Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of macOS and iOS operating systems.
Proficiency in using Jamf Pro for device management.
Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
Knowledge of Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP), and Apple Business Manager.
Familiarity with integrating Jamf Pro with other systems and security tools.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Enterprise technologies of Active Directory, Azure, M365, etc.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in an enterprise environment managing medium to large volume of devices.
Work experience with 6+ years of Jamf Pro Engineering, functional areas of Endpoint Management, and related experience.
