Medical Imaging Front Desk
About the Role:
The Medical Imaging Front Desk position at Prohealth Advanced Imaging is crucial for ensuring a seamless patient experience from the moment they enter our facility. This role involves managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and providing essential information about imaging procedures. The front desk staff serves as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and care. Additionally, this position requires effective communication with medical staff to coordinate patient flow and address any inquiries. Ultimately, the Medical Imaging Front Desk team plays a vital role in supporting the overall efficiency and quality of our imaging services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical imaging or radiology environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
- Certification in medical office administration or related field.
Responsibilities:
