WHO
we’re looking for:
We are
looking for an Android Software QA Engineer (Knox) who will be responsible for designing test cases, automating and performing test execution for various Cloud services under Knox solutions including requirement gathering, design analysis, test case review. The ideal candidate is expected to have knowledge of testing concepts, Android testing, and client-server applications.
The Development QA (DQA) Lab acts as the centralized hub for quality solutions. The mission is to provide comprehensive E2E test strategy, coverage, and automation solutions for early Issue Detection with unbiased quality assessment for deliverables. DQA plays a pivotal role in developing next gen automation tools and test solutions for products, services and solutions build on AR/VR headsets, Android, and PC platforms.
Role
and Responsibilities:
- Understand the business requirements, Create & execute test cases covering E2E scenarios.
- Dive deep into design/architecture alongside with requirements to design cases.
- Defect debugging, logging and defect tracking until bug closure.
- Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests for Knox services.
- Take ownership/responsibility for the product quality during monthly releases.
- Coordinate with program management, Developers and QA leads.
- Help in building an Engineering culture that enables quality in all software features across Knox services.
Required Experience and Education:
- 4-8 years’ experience in testing with minimum 2 years’ experience in testing Android applications.
- 3+ years' experience in Web/Android Automation
- Proficient with debugging (ADB or any other debugging tools) and experience with different debugging tools is essential.
- Experience in REST API Automation is a plus.
- Experience in Selenium and Robotium framework is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies.

performing the duties of this job, the contract employee is
occasionally required to stand, clean, crawl, kneel, sit,
sort, hold, squat, stoop, stand, twist the body, walk, use

controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders
and scaffolding, talk or hear, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include
ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the
eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display
terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged
periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing
high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and
moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs
work under time schedules and stress which are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project
management deadlines. May require working additional time
beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
