Under immediate to close supervision, it serves internal/external customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems. #zr- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Build positive relationships with co-workers, management, internal & external customers.
- Maintains financial accounts by processing customer credit requests expediently.
- Updates and maintains order & complaint logs.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information as necessary.
- Processes orders successfully
- Communicates effectively with internal / external customers in person, on the phone, and through email.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs standard tasks using established methods, principles, concepts & procedures.
- Minor judgments are made.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Experience with a food manufacturer / marketer preferred.
- Successful completion of Customer Service Certification Program during the first 18 months of employment
- Ability and desire to learn.
- Ability to balance conflict and stay calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, listen effectively, and have solid general business knowledge.
- Proven computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP preferred)
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier).
- Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)
