Imagine yourself as a select member of the team that brings these assemblies from concept to high volume manufacturing. Description Support development of automated ECAD and design rule checks based on field learnings. Develop automated tools to improve the efficiency of the design review and manufacturing process. Drive technology development efforts at manufacturing sites to achieve product design goals. Manage yield and reliability performance of suppliers in NPI phases and drive improvement efforts. Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts for reliability, yield, or field failures. Develop novel material or design concepts to achieve product design goals. Educate cross-functional team mates about circuit manufacturing process and design fundamentals, capabilities, and limitations. Minimum Qualifications

• 5 or more years of research or process development experience in an applicable field and
• familiarity with the properties and process used in microelectronics fabrication and FPC assembly.
• Experience with scripting, development or advance use of EDA tools for PCB or FPC analysis.
• BS or MS in engineering, material science or applicable field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the properties and process used in microelectronics fabrication and FPC assembly.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results in a pure development role.
• Proficiency with one or more programming language including Python, C++, Rust, Swift, and/or JavaScript

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
