Event Services Manager - Hilton New Orleans Riverside
The beautiful Hilton New Orleans Riverside is the largest hotel in New Orleans and one of the top revenue-generating hotels in the company. Their Events team is growing, and they are looking for an Event Services Manager to join their amazing team!
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within hotel events, offering strong growth potential. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a quick thinker, confident, and able to multitask while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
What will I be doing?
As an Event Services Manager, you would be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of banquet and catering events in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide direction and supervision to departments to ensure successful execution of meetings and/or events
- Serve on-site group and catering clients and respond to questions about the event including, but not limited to, group room blocks, food and beverage, the function space, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests and resolve issues and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare reports, correspondence and analysis related to group activity
- Lead, facilitate and participate in meetings, as needed

What are we looking for?
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a client-facing role
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends based on group needs in-house
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the day
- Events experience is a plus!

Hilton offers a best-in market SIP (Short-Term Incentive Plan) to our Sales, Catering & Events teams to reward our employees for their contributions to our company’s financial success.
