We are seeking talented designers, strategists, and creative technologists to join our team and infuse new energy into our process. You should be prepared to assist at all stages of product design, from identifying unmet needs and discovering new opportunities to designing concepts and applying technology creatively to solve user problems and create innovative experiences that reimagine interaction with products.

Position Summary :

As a Creative Technologist, you will research, design, innovate, and prototype new user experiences across Samsungs product portfolio. You should understand advanced technology and think creatively about its application to address human needs. Your responsibilities include designing, prototyping, and building novel experiences that surprise and delight, pushing the boundaries of design and technology. You will develop interactive prototypes to conceptualize and develop innovative solutions. This role operates within a startup-style lab environment and may require wearing multiple hats, such as product/project management and software architecture roles.

Position Responsibilities :

1. Define new product platforms, architectures, and strategies; develop digital solutions and products by collaborating with management, engineers, UX/UI designers, programmers, and quality teams.
2. Lead platform research, experimentation, concept exploration, prototyping, and ideation for crafting user experiences using modern web technologies.
3. Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications.
4. Strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders, identifying targets and strategic growth areas.
5. Create prototypes of new concepts in physical and digital design.
6. Contribute to User Interaction Workflow and UX design.
7. Communicate effectively with design and business teams; participate in creative workshops and ideation sessions.
8. Bring innovative perspectives to various product categories to inspire colleagues.
9. Support team development and consider team versus individual needs.
10. Travel domestically and internationally; work overtime as needed.

Required Skills :

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Product Design, Design Engineering, Software and Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and building embedded devices, mobile, web, or cloud applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTML; experience with embedded systems (e.g., FreeRTOS), analytics, DevOps, and MLOps.
• Strong understanding of design thinking, principles, and experience design best practices.
• Experience in designing, prototyping, and building immersive experiences that push technological boundaries.
• Creative and consumer-focused approach to design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of current design software and techniques in 2D and 3D, and integrating new technologies into digital products.
• Broad engineering knowledge and experience managing software development projects in dynamic environments.
• Ability to develop new techniques for technology auditing.

Our compensation package includes a base pay range of $151,200 $207,750 USD, with potential variations based on role, location, and individual qualifications. Benefits include annual bonuses and comprehensive perks.
