Logistics Administrator Specialist (Ontario)

JOB SUMMARY:

SPEEDY CARGO LLC is hiring a Logistics Administrative Specialist to be the backbone of our driver onboarding and compliance operations. You'll be the first voice our new hires hear, and you'll ensure every driver hits the road fully compliant, trained, and ready to succeed. ABOUT US:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct first-round phone interviews with driver candidates, assessing fit and answering initial questions about the role
• Manage FMCSA DOT regulatory compliance including driver qualification files, hours-of-service documentation, and safety compliance
• Own ADP payroll administration including time card management, corrections, and employee record maintenance
• Prepare and manage DOT paperwork including pre-employment screening, vehicle inspection records, and regulatory filings
• Coordinate hiring and termination workflows working with management and HR to execute clean offboarding processes
• Conduct virtual onboarding sessions with newly hired drivers covering our digital platform, app logins, system access, and role expectations
• Schedule and coordinate driver training sessions through our digital training platform, ensuring all drivers are fully prepared before their first shift
• Serve as the compliance liaison between newly hired drivers and operations, ensuring smooth handoff to the trainer
• Monitor and respond to compliance emergencies with on-call availability for weekend and urgent compliance issues
• Maintain detailed records of all compliance documentation, interviews, and onboarding progress in our system
• Manage company social media presence
• Manage all compliance letters from local counties, state and federal.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Recruiting experience knows how to talk to people and see if they fit our team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn complex regulatory frameworks quickly
• Proficiency with basic technology, spreadsheets, and business software
• Reliable internet and quiet home workspace
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend on-call availability
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ADP payroll systems
• Familiarity with DOT or FMCSA regulations
• Prior HR, recruiting, or onboarding experience
• Experience in logistics, trucking, transportation, or related fields (but not required!)
• Background in compliance or regulatory work

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week
• Available for weekend on-call coverage for compliance emergencies (included in salary)
