Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Shift: 1st and 2nd

Machine operator (e.g., seasoner, packager) prepares, operates, and monitors food manufacturing equipment to produce snacks according to quality, safety (GMP, HACCP), and efficiency standards. Key duties include setting up machines, troubleshooting issues, maintaining production speeds, and ensuring proper product formulation.

Key Responsibilities

● Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and operate food processing, seasoning, or packaging machinery (e.g., cookers,, bagging machines).

● Production Monitoring: Monitor machine speed, output, and quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.

● Quality & Food Safety: Ensure strict adherence to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

● Troubleshooting: Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment.

● Material Handling: Load proper materials, such as packaging film, and manage product seasoning or ingredients.

● Documentation: Record production data,, such as seasoning usage or downtime, accurately.

Required Qualifications & Skills

● Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment, ideally in food processing or packaging.

● Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.

● Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

● Communication: Effective English communication skills to read SOPs and communicate with team members.

● Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions

● This is a manufacturing/warehouse environment, which may involve noise, heat, and working on rotating or fixed shifts

● Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds as needed.
