Director, Business Intelligence ($192,400.00 - $241,800.00)

Position Summary:

The Director of Business Intelligence Engineering drives impactful BI initiatives across our business units, transforming data into strategic advantages. This leader designs, deploys, and scales analytics solutions that directly advance organizational goals while leveraging established frameworks. This hands-on role champions execution excellence and cultivates a data-first mindset throughout the organization, turning information into measurable outcomes and promoting the evolution of analytics through the use of AI.

Job Duties:

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts and developers, providing hands-on guidance and feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to execute BI initiatives using core technologies including Snowflake, dbt, Python and Tableau.
• Keep current on BI technologies and recommend improvements.
• Monitor data quality and integrity in BI processes and implement corrective measures.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial accountability

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in data analytics or BI, including 5+ years in team leadership roles.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Google, Snowflake, AWS).
• Experience managing BI projects with analytics deliverables.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

Other:

• Expertise in data modeling, analytics, and data governance principles.
• Effective communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder interactions.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Foundational technical expertise in analytics, ETL, SQL, programming, and data visualization tools.
• Specific experience in Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Tableau required.
• Terraform, Matillion, Fivetran, Boomi, Business Objects, Jupyter experience are a plus.
  
  

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $192,400.00 - $241,800.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
