Our teams span across 18U Boys, 18U Girls, 16U Girls, 16U Boys, 14U Boys, 14U Girls, 12U Girls, 12U Boys, and 10U Co-Ed.

Job Description: As a Water Polo Coach at Empire WPF, you will play a critical role in developing young athletes into top-tier competitors. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring athletes in one or more of the following age groups: 18U Boys, 18U Girls, 16U Girls, 16U Boys, 14U Boys, 14U Girls, 12U Girls, 12U Boys, and 10U Co-Ed teams. Your main goal will be to lead your team(s) to compete at their highest potential with a focus on preparing for major tournaments, including the Junior Olympics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement training programs that build technical skills, game strategy, and physical conditioning tailored to your assigned age group.
Foster a positive and competitive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
Attend and actively participate in team practices, games, tournaments, and meetings.
Collaborate with other coaching staff and external training organizations to ensure comprehensive athlete development.
Participate in clinics and ongoing education to stay up-to-date with the latest coaching methods and water polo trends.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and club management regarding progress, schedules, and expectations.
Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience at the club, high school, or collegiate level is preferred.
Strong knowledge of water polo techniques, strategies, and rules.
Passion for working with youth athletes and helping them achieve their potential.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and hold athletes accountable to high standards of performance.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
USA Water Polo coaching certification or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel for tournaments.
