Software Engineer, Preprint

Position Overview:

We are starting a new team to bring machine learning into our build setup pipeline. This role will involve:

-helping set up machine learning models and pipelines on data extracted from our builds

-help create a data repository to manage many terabytes of data used for training and analysis

-extract geometric features from customer parts to feed them in to ML models

-developing geometric optimization procedures to reduce surface defects.

You will be working in close collaboration with the people who develop our print processes and help customers with their challenging parts.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Math.
• 3+ years of programming experience
• 1+ years of C++ on any platform
• Familiarity with python
• Familiarity with computational geometry concepts
• Good communication skills
• Experience with machine learning is a plus
• Experience with AWS is a plus

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this full-time position is between $168,000 and $176,000. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
