Physical Therapist Assistant (Contract Role)
"We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Hayward, CA, 94544. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."
Job Details:
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1440 - $1620
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including response to treatment and any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies while maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and documentation as per facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings is beneficial.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant ( required ).
- CPR/BLS certification.
