Strategic Sourcing Manager (San Francisco)

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the procurement team. You will lead the charge in negotiating supplier agreements, guiding stakeholders through the contract process, and providing strategic sourcing support across multiple business units. Your focus will be on software (including on-premise and SaaS contracts), hardware, cloud services, and IT professional services. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders in Technology and E-Commerce, influencing purchasing decisions and driving cost-saving initiatives.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage RFP/RFI processes, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Negotiate favorable supplier agreements, minimizing risk and maximizing value.
• Guide stakeholders through the intake-to-contract process, providing expert support and guidance.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and business partners, fostering collaboration and mutual success.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on software, hardware, cloud services, and IT professional services.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable contract terms.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.48 to $40.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
