Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial buildings in accordance with safety codes and standards.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Identify electrical problems and troubleshoot malfunctions to perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other construction team members to coordinate electrical installations and ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations throughout all phases of work.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments in adherence to company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Document completed work, materials used, and time spent performing tasks for accurate reporting and project tracking.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Electrician license or certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial electrical work within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and wiring methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
