The OpportunityÂ

We are seeking a detail-oriented Expense Auditor to join our Accounting team and play a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities across the firm. This position will analyze expenses, review vendor agreements, and audit internal spending to uncover unnecessary costs and inefficiencies. The Expense Auditor will regularly prepare reports and present findings and recommendations directly to C-Suite and senior leadership, helping guide strategic financial decisions and operational improvements.

Accountable for

• Audit firm expenses across departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and unnecessary spending
• Review and analyze vendor contracts, subscriptions, and service agreements for cost efficiency
• Identify duplicate services, unused subscriptions, and excessive vendor charges
• Develop recommendations to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality
• Track and quantify savings from implemented cost-reduction initiatives
• Prepare clear, data-driven reports and presentations for C-Suite and upper management
• Partner with Accounting and department leaders to implement cost control measures
• Monitor ongoing expenses to ensure continued compliance with cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or financial analysis
• Experience analyzing expenses, financial statements, or operational spending
• Proven ability to prepare reports and present findings to leadership
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Ability to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction

Compensation

• $75,000 - $100,000Â per year depending on experience
