Lead Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 474984

Vaco is currently representing a large, well established and growing client here in Orange County to help them find a strong lead senior to join their growing accounting team!

This is an ONSITE position, based in Irvine, CA. Competitive salary and great benefits.

REQUIREMENTS:
*4 years of full-cycle GL accounting experience at a LARGE company, with a strong focus on fixed assets
*Solid experience with and understanding of full lifecycle fixed asset accounting including but not limited to capitalization, depreciation, reporting in compliance with GAAP
*Experience with large company ERP systems (eg Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc)

Main responsibilities:
*Manage and maintain fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, transfers, and retirements
*Review and determine proper asset capitalization in accordance with company policy and GAAP
*Calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization
*Perform fixed asset reconciliations. Research and resolve discrepancies.
*Support period-end close processes
*Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards and supporting schedules for audits.
