OneAdmin Planning & Operations Manager

Job Description and Duties

This is a 24-month limited term position which may be extended, cancelled, or made permanent at any time.

If becoming permanent, the selected candidate must be eligible for a permanent appointment at the time of the LT appointment or at the time of the conversion.

OneAdmin Planning & Operations has an immediate Limited Term opening for an OneAdmin Planning and Operations Manager at the Supervisor I level. This position is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Predictive Analytics team and Data Quality & Analytics team within OneAdmin Planning and Operations. This is a high impact unit that performs advanced analysis from internal and external data sources. The Supervisor I plans, organizes and manages research efforts, utilizes a variety of analytical and research techniques to address complex problems, and develops and evaluates alternatives.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to research, analyze, evaluate data and prepare written reports and recommendations
• Experience in statistical and modeling methods to study historical trends; forecast modeling
• Strong understanding of database concepts
• Expert level proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent
• Experience with working with Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or others for Reporting and Dashboards
• Ability to perform data quality checks to ensure high accuracy and integrity of data
• Ability to coordinate, facilitate and make presentations
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions toward shared objectives
• Working knowledge of project management principles
• Ability to lead a team in conducting Quality Assurance work
• Ability to develop, administer, and collect Survey Data and prepare survey reports
• Ability to lead a team in position budget tracking, planning, and reporting
• Ability to draft, finalize and maintain the integrity of the administrative scorecard and dashboards
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert on all key administrative reporting systems. This includes identifying reporting and analysis problems and working with management to resolve them.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.

Special Requirements

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
