About the Position
Start date: ASAP Ratios: 1:2 Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Equivalent to every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule Certs REQ: BCLS, NRP Is on-call REQ?: No Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, nursery role, transition role. This is not a routine occurrence; it may not be needed. If it becomes a potential to float, it would be "baby transition nurse," only if delivery volumes are high. The responsibilities would the ability to care for baby after the initial birth. This would include routine baby care/vitals, head to toe assessment, skin to skin, breastfeeding, routine labs. Charting: EPIC *Epic Experience Preferred Will NICU candidates be attending to delivers? No Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission Guaranteed Hours: facility is able to call off once per two week pay period Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet Facility Total Staffed Beds: 377 Scrub Color: Any color L/D & OR provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free Parking!
