We're an Equipment manufacture working around Ag and Winery equipment. We are looking for
a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and implements. You will be
responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical
systems. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They
must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Working is performed in field in multiple locations and shop(s) but main shop based out of Santa Rosa
Responsibilities
Report to Foreman/Service Manager for assigned jobs
Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
Inspect machines, engines, hydraulic systems etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover
functionality issues
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
Perform customer training on machine operation
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or
vehicle users
Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, electrical repair etc.)
Keep logs of work and report on issues, fill and complete repair orders in a timely
manner
Overtime/On call through harvest time (July-November)

Works outdoors/indoors
Works in warm/cold climates
Works in high place
Works on wet surfaces
Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
Drive service vehicle to multiple locations
Ideal Skills
Proven experience as Mechanic
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their
components
Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision
measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, work shop
Perform necessary paperwork and documentation after completed repairs
