We are on the hunt for an overnight experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

About the Job: As a Veterinary Technician in the ICU department will be responsible for:

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring consistent evaluation and monitoring
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced hospitalization care and continuous rate infusions (CRIs)
• Perform in-house laboratory procedures
• Skillfully place intravenous (IV) catheters
• Conduct accurate and detailed patient rounds
• Safely restrain fractious and frightened patients
• Obtain temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR) measurements and maintain medical records
• Recognize situations requiring immediate attention from a veterinarian
• Act as an advocate for both the patient and the client
• Other duties as assigned

Our compensation for this role typically falls between $24.00-$31.00 hourly.

Schedule:

• Wednesday-Saturday, 4/10 hr shifts
• Overnight shift differential offered

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required.
• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and working knowledge of radiographic techniques is required.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
