PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy efficient, elegant, clean, reusable code with no unnecessary complication or abstraction. Build and implement software that is simple, bug-free, intuitive, and easy to use with a platform development mindset. Triage, debug, and fix bugs to deliver quality solutions and monitor applications through production. Understand the business requirements and to deliver solutions that can scale. Apply advanced object-oriented design and development principles to software infrastructure and technical issues. Hire and build a world class engineering team that impacts engineering at PayPal. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
Primary Location | Pay Range:
San Jose, California | Salary: $149,365.00-198,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
