Commercial Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in managing commercial construction projects, including restaurants, grocery stores, and retail stores. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing fast-paced, high-visibility projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution

• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align on project scope and deliverables

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets

• Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract administration

• Monitor project progress and proactively manage changes, risks, and delays

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards

• Conduct site visits to support field teams and maintain strong communication with Superintendents

• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout processes

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure excellent client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction

• Proven success managing restaurant, grocery, or retail build-outs and renovations

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications

• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar)

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

• OSHA 30 certification is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
