Events Manager
The Temple is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Manager to coordinate the logistics, operations, and execution of meetings, programs, and special events. This role works closely with staff, congregants, outside clients, and vendors to create warm, welcoming experiences while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and organization.
As the Events Manager, you will often serve as the public face of the Temple, making relationship-building, communication, and service excellence essential to success. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination — Plan and manage logistics for meetings, programs, and special events from start to finish. Client & Vendor Relations — Serve as a primary point of contact for congregants, clients, and vendors, ensuring a positive and professional experience. On-Site Operations — Oversee event setup, room configuration, equipment needs, and day-of execution. Atmosphere & Hospitality — Maintain a warm, inviting environment aligned with the Temple’s mission and values. Administrative Support — Manage calendars, space reservations, and event documentation using internal systems. Problem Solving — Troubleshoot issues quickly and independently in a fast-moving environment. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. 3–5 years of event planning experience with a strong track record of successful event execution and meeting goals. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Food & beverage experience preferred. Experience with calendar or space-management software is a plus.
