Accounts Payable Associate

We are looking for a Accounts Payable Associate to be part of APM’s Finance team focusing on accounts payable invoice processing, credit cards and expense reimbursements processing, cash application posting, bank reconciliation, and preparation of basic accounting workbooks, such as Accounts Payable, corporate credit card, and others.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post general journal entries
• Record cash transactions in financial system
• Review and approve employee expense report coding
• Update expense workbooks with monthly transactions
• Process AP invoices and credit card expenses
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statement sub-schedules
• Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent people and problem-solving skills
• Must be extremely organized, able to multi-task and work as a team player
• Minimum of 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Must be proficient in all MS Office systems
• Intermediate Excel skills are a plus – i.e. vlookup, pivots, sumifs
• Relevant Accounts Payable processing experience

• Accounting related certification or degree
