Aerospace Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Aerospace Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Pacoima, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical aptitude, CNC exposure, soldering, grinding, or hands-on shop experience who wants to build a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with basic aerospace machining, production, and shop support tasks.
- Operate or support CNC machines, grinders, and other manufacturing equipment as trained.
- Perform basic mechanical work, part handling, soldering, or finishing tasks based on production needs.
- Inspect parts visually and follow quality standards for aerospace components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and direction from supervisors or experienced machinists.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $22 to $25 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Excellent benefits available when hired full time.
- Must pass background and drug tests

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous shop, manufacturing, machine operation, or hands-on mechanical experience.
- Familiarity with aerospace production environments.
- Basic understanding of precision parts, tools, or measurement practices.
