Jr Contract Specialist
Job Title: Jr Contract Specialist
Location-Type: Remote (PST hours preferred; hub proximity to Austin, SF/Bay Area, or NYC preferred)
Start Date Is: May 18th
Duration: 7–8 months (contract)
Compensation Range: $33/hr – $35/hr
Job Description:
Support a high-volume procurement and contracts function by managing intake, triage, and routing of vendor agreements while collaborating across legal, security, and sourcing teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage intake and triage of incoming contract requests
- Route agreements for review and coordinate signature workflows
- Track and prioritize a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, security, privacy, compliance, and sourcing teams
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders across functions
- Utilize CLM tools (e.g., Zip, Ironclad) for contract lifecycle activities
- Adapt to evolving processes and contribute to process improvements
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 1–2 years of experience (or recent graduate) in admin, clerical, procurement, or contract support roles
- Exposure to procurement processes and vendor/commercial contract review (non-sales)
- Experience with any CLM platform (e.g., Zip, Ironclad, Certa)
- Familiarity with AI tools (prompting, reporting, or similar use)
- Strong communication skills; able to work cross-functionally in a remote environment
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Oracle systems
- Project management skills
- Exposure to data privacy/security or infrastructure-related vendor contracts
- Bachelor's degree
