Junior Logistics Route Auditor

: Summary The Junior Route Auditor plays a key role in ensuring compliance with SB 1383 regulations by actively engaging in field data collection. The primary responsibility involves executing city equipment audits using the Routing App. Additionally, the Junior Route Auditor will conduct other requested field audits as needed.

• Conduct SB 1383 city equipment audits, capturing findings through the utilization of the Routing App.
• Standardize detailed data from various audit types.
• Input data into the Routing App, Tablet, and/or designated spreadsheet.
• Provide feedback from route audits to identify concerns related to sequencing, efficiency, and safety issues.
• Collaborate with management to analyze route findings and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of data collected from any audit.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Acceptable driving record (H-6 printout will be requested).
• Ability to interface effectively with customers and route drivers.
• Competency in operating equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Proven customer service skills while maintaining confidentiality.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing work schedule.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read maps and possess a strong sense of direction.
• Effective communication skills to convey information to both employees and management.
• Ability to satisfy the needs of diverse groups, ranging from corporate to operations staff.
• Capability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, meeting all deadlines.
• Physical capability to perform job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
