STEM Tutor
STEM Tutor (K–8 primarily)Carlsbad, Oceanside & North County San Diego | Flexible Schedule We’re looking for passionate and reliable STEM Tutors to join our team! If you enjoy working with students and helping them succeed in math, science, and other STEM subjects, this is a great opportunity to make an impact while working a flexible schedule. What You’ll Do * Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions in STEM subjects (primarily K–8) * Support students in building confidence and developing problem-solving skills * Tailor to each student’s needs and learning style * Submit short session reports to communicate progress and strategies to parents and our team What We’re Looking For * Strong knowledge in math and science (K–8 level required; higher-level subjects a plus) * Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred * Patience, positivity, and strong communication skills * Reliable, professional, and organized * Must have reliable transportation to travel to student homes in Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, and surrounding areas Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in education, math, science, engineering, or related field preferred * Prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience is a plus * Ability to commit to a consistent schedule with students Compensation & Benefits * Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and subject level) * Flexible scheduling - set availability that works for you * Opportunity to tutor multiple students and grow with our team * Ongoing support from our office staff and resources to help you succeed Why Join Us?
