Psychiatric RN Job Details
- Location: Concord, MA 01742 (Massachusetts psychiatric nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
- Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm)
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Hours per Week: 32-40
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 – $3,540
- Start Date: August 25, 2025
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent psychiatric or mental health nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized mental health care plans
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document outcomes
- Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient confidentiality
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies and utilize de-escalation techniques as needed
