Wiring Technician (Victorville)

We are looking for a Wiring Technician in Victorville, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform wiring, running of conduit
• Installation of crane electrical components
• Read schematics from engineering
• Read, interpret and work from drawings from controlled documentation and processes
• Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, well as all safety procedures required at your work-site
• Use material handling equipment(overhead cranes and forklifts) to facilitate wiring
• May travel locally to customer sites to assist with wiring installation
• Wiring/soldering and assembling main and sub-assemblies including panels

Required Skills/Abilities

• The ability to run wire and making electrical connections
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Knowledge to bend and assemble conduit
• Basic electrical testing knowledge including the use of meters
• Good fine-motor skills and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow procedures and good communication skills

Education/Experience

• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program would be plus
• 2 year electrical degree or associates degree in relevant field would be plus
• Field experience troubleshooting and installing electrical connections

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
