Job Title: Craftsperson - Career Opportunity - San Diego, CA

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled craftsperson to support turnover, punch-list completion, and general finishing work. This role requires strong reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage day labor while coordinating with subcontractors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and able to complete unit touch-ups with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete punch-list tasks within one week per unit.
• Perform general caulking and finishing work.
• Support turnover of 10–12 units requiring touch-ups.
• Touch up paint and finishes as needed.
• Coordinate work with subcontractors.
• Execute general labor duties with light supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family construction.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Previous experience in finishing or punch-list roles.
• Proficient in carpentry, drywall, construction, and framing.
• Knowledge of commercial construction and metal stud.
• Understanding of electrical, drywall finishing, and hand tool usage.
• Finish and rough carpentry skills.
• Experience in painting, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Blueprint reading capabilities.
• Good communication skills.
• High punctuality.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
