Coinbase is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for our Prime Financing team, based in the vibrant heart of San Francisco, CA. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing the financial operations that support our innovative cryptocurrency offerings. Your expertise will not only ensure compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting but will also contribute to strategic decision-making that drives the growth of our industry-leading platform.
As an Accountant in the Prime Financing division, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive financial records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring the seamless execution of financial transactions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, manage reconciliations, and support audits, all while adhering to regulatory standards. Your analytical skills will be essential in interpreting complex financial information to provide insights that shape our financial strategies.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of three years of experience in accounting, preferably within the finance or fintech sectors. A strong understanding of GAAP principles and proficiency in financial software and tools are required. You should be a proactive problem solver with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
