Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking an innovative individual to join our Potens.io Team. In this role, you will build and support a suite of powerful AI-driven big data tools that empower users—regardless of technical background—to easily explore data, compose automated workflows, and become self-sufficient in their data needs.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Design, build, and maintain functional, scalable, and extensible cloud-based web applications for SaaS.
• Develop and support both the frontend and backend of Viant’s AI-powered Big Data Tools.
• Continuously improve the existing codebase, ensuring high quality and maintainability by writing understandable, testable code.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while driving innovation to enhance scalability and performance.

GREAT TO HAVE

• 5+ years of production-level experience in Java or GoLang.
• Proven experience in architecting, developing, deploying, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in data processing and analytics.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

$135,000 - $180,000 a year

In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education. \n
