Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Travel assignment in Monterey, CA. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 38 hours per week, with days shift. - Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing environment in accordance with the plan of care.
- Perform evaluations, establish treatment plans, implement therapy sessions, and adjust goals as needed to promote functional independence.
- Document progress and outcomes in Rehab Optima (NetHealth) electronic records; maintain timely, accurate notes and discharge planning as required.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize residents’ functional outcomes; participate in rounds, care planning meetings, and family communication as appropriate.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control practices; assist with therapeutic equipment and activities, and tailor interventions to residents’ needs.
- Support discharge planning and education for residents and families; monitor progress and modify approaches to achieve rehabilitation goals. Requirements
- Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
- Knowledge of Rehab Optima (NetHealth) computer system.
- Ability to work a day shift in a travel assignment and to meet credentialing requirements.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team. Benefits and Support
