Full Stack Software Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires strong Python and Django expertise to build reliable backend services while also creating intuitive React‑based user interfaces.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $83/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Full Stack Software Developer job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework to support efficient data collection and processing.
Design and implement user‑friendly web interfaces in React, ensuring strong usability and alignment with UX best practices.
Collaborate with data engineers and cross‑functional teams to build solutions that meet the needs of multiple data consumers.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high‑quality, maintainable, and robust technical solutions.
Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to design, optimize, and manage data storage solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, enhance existing systems, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years equivalent industry experience).
3+ years of hands‑on software development experience in full‑stack environments.
Strong proficiency in Python, Object‑Oriented Programming, and backend development using Django and Django REST Framework.
Skilled in building modern, responsive web user interfaces using React with a solid understanding of UX design principles.
