Retail Job Coach

Achievement House Inc has served the Central Coast for over 50 years by providing services that encourage and support individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal and professional goals. We are currently seeking a Retail Job Coach for our Santa Maria location! This position is part of our Braided Day Program where half the day is spent in our Retail Store and the other half of the day spent in education/community programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous instruction for independent community and vocational skills objectives that correspond with individuals' abilities and development.
• Ensure compliance with Individual's ISP and services stated in the Service Design, and supply instructions and techniques as necessary.
• Teach and promote proper activities and appropriate use of time.
• Coordinate, document, and review activity schedules for individuals served.
• Instruct individuals on achieving and maintaining adaptive skills and appropriate behaviors.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license (driving is required for this position)
• Ability to pass a LiveScan background check
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Patience, compassion, and ability to be a role model for adults with disabilities

Compensation

Anticipated hiring range is $23.00 per hour plus perks + benefits!

(full salary schedule range of $23.00 - $25.00/hr)
