Our engineering team builds the platform that powers intelligent automation at scale. We help customers turn unstructured data (e.g. documents) into validated, structured insights through end-to-end workflows. With our tools, users can design workflows in Build , publish them as Apps , connect them to production systems with Deployments , and continuously monitor and refine results in Review .

Beyond workflows, we design and operate the core infrastructure and platform capabilities that enable AI agents to run securely, reliably, and at scale — meeting the strict security, compliance, and performance needs of our enterprise customers.

As a Fullstack Engineer at Instabase, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and building for the full project lifecycle across frontend and backend.


• Working with product managers and designers to understand user pain points and create the best product experience.


• Developing a seamless user experience across the Automate product lifecycle by being customer obsessed and having a deep understanding of the end-to-end user journey


• Interfacing with other engineering teams to ensure the features you own are integrated with downstream and upstream systems.


• Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to improving stability through testing and other initiatives.


• Improving the company through mentorship, interviewing, and new initiatives

As a team , we move fast and are empowered to make product and design decisions. You will start contributing to our codebase week 1 and as an early team member, will help shape the backend and direction of our product.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of industry experience with Javascript, TypeScript, React, Webpack, UI design, HTML & CSS, web fundamentals, APIs, REST, frontend unit & integration testing


• 5+ years of industry experience with server-side frameworks (e.g. Python, Go, Node.js, Java)


• BS+ in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a technical field.


• Passion for software engineering design especially around user experience and frontend architecture


• Enthusiasm for building user-facing products, shipping features quickly, and incorporating user feedback.


• Strong technical communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to set technical and cultural standards for engineers

Compensation : The base salary range for this role is $190,000 to $205,000 + bonus, equity and US benefits. The actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience and skills.
