Prep Cook
Wilde’s is a neighborhood restaurant in Los Feliz serving seasonally focused and ingredient-driven food.
We’re looking for a Prep Cook to join our BOH team.
Responsibilities
- Daily prep for café and restaurant service (sauces, stocks, dressings, vegetables etc)
- Assisting and supporting line and pastry cooks with mise en place and organization
- Maintaining clean and organized storage areas (including fridges with market produce and proteins)
- Following proper labeling, storage, and food safety standards
Applicant Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
- A genuine love of cooking and an eagerness to learn
- Solid base of culinary fundamentals
- Ability to work cleanly, stay organized and handle the pace of service
- Team-oriented mindset
- Interest in seasonal produce
