HR Generalist

and independent lives. We are seeking a skilled HR professional to manage employee benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, compliance, and employee relations, helping build a positive, compliant, and people-centered workplace.

What You Will Do

• Administer FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other protected leaves, including ADA accommodations and return-to-work processes
• Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, life events, terminations, COBRA, 401(k), and open enrollment
• Partner with payroll to ensure accurate pay, deductions, and timekeeping during leave and benefits administration
• Administer workers’ compensation claims, track incidents, and ensure timely resolution
• Support employee relations, performance coaching, investigations, and HR policy guidance
• Maintain HR records, compliance filings (EEO-1, ERISA, ACA, 401(k)), and participate in HR surveys
• Contribute to HR programs, HRIS management, and initiatives promoting culture, engagement, and accountability

What You Will Bring

• 3–5 years of HR experience including leave, benefits, employee relations, and workers’ compensation
• Knowledge of federal and California employment and leave laws
• HRIS and database experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with attention to detail
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
